Zoe Musburger Wright

Zoe Musburger Wright, 75, of West Orange Street, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1997, in her home after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born July 27, 1921 in Wadena, Minn.  She married Leroy J. Wright on June 8, 1942, in Tacoma, Wash. and they moved to Duluth in 1946.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Duluth Heights.

She was preceded in death by four of her children, Patrick (infant,) Kerry Robert (18 months,) Troy Elaine (11 days,) and Joseph Peter (3 ½ years.)

She is survived by husband, Roy, Duluth; sons, Mike (Jeanne) of Denver, Colo., and Danny (Jo Ann) of Duluth; daughters, Kelly Altman (Jim) of Grand Forks, N.D., and Kim Sajec and Cara Monnier (Roger,) both of Duluth; sister, Gloria Gary (Spike) of Bemidji; four brothers, Jack (Ann) Musburger of Chisholm, Jim (Adeline) of Bemidji, Jerry (Carol) of Chaska, Minn., and Jeff (Becky) of Cotton.

She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and we will miss her.

Visitation:  5 to 8 p.m. with wake prayers at 6:30 p.m., followed by Knights of Columbus rosary at 6:45 p.m. today in the Dougherty Funeral Home.  Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Duluth Heights.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
